Late in the afternoon on Saturday, June 8, Flores was involved in a crash with a 74-year-old man in a sedan in the area of Benchmark Road and Cahill Street.
Flores was rushed to an area hospital, where he later died from injuries sustained in the crash, which remains under investigation.
The 20-year-old was three days away from his birthday.
"He was an amazing brother, and our family is heartbroken by his loss," his sister said. "He was incredibly ambitious, with dreams of owning a home, getting married, and becoming an entrepreneur.
"He had a passion for designing houses and working on cars in his spare time," Nataly Flores continued. "His free spirit and drive to succeed were truly inspiring."
Following his death, thousands of dollars have been raised as the family prepares to say their final goodbyes to Flores.
"I have no words to describe how broken the core of my soul feels at this moment in my life," his big sister added. "It feels wrong in so many different horrible ways that we have to bury my brother."
Flores' funeral has been scheduled for Friday, June 21 at the Laurel Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park on Plank Road in Spotsylvania.
The public viewing will be held between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m., followed by a chapel service, with the burial planned for 2 p.m. on Friday.
A GoFundMe campaign has been started on behalf of the family. Those interested in donating can do so here.
